2. Injectors
Yesterday, when accelerating from highway paytoll at a high speed I noticed a significant decrease in power. It was like the engine was running out of gas. Or, my injectors were not firing. Today, i pulled out the spark plugs, 3 were drenched in gazoline, the fourth was dry. When I start the engine, there are no sparks, I put a piece of tissue on top of each injector hole, the 3 drenched with gazoline leap out, however the 4th one stays shut. I tested the ground connection of ECU pins 14,30, and 48/55. I got zero ohm. So i assume the problem is elsewhere.
I also tried to reset the PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is unplugged, and it works fine when the G28 connected. However the intermittent misfire issue continues to occur at higher RPM. The temperature sensor for the coolant (G62) shows the wrong temperature of -49c even when i unplug it. Also, i noticed that the gauge for oil pressure in the cockpit is showing 2 bar when the actual pressure is 0.0 if i crank up the engine.
I'm not sure what to do. I think I've ruled everything else out. However, i'm afraid that I may have missed something. Let me know If you have any suggestions! TIA!
3. Fuel Pump
The fuel pump of the g28 receives signals from the RPM sensor. The GM-style transmitter is identical to the G4 sender and both work on the 80,100,200, UrS, and RS2 vehicles.
