If the sensor is functional, it should read around 1000 ohms. Check for signs of coolant or oil in the connector bay if there are problems with this part.
2. Injectors
Yesterday, while accelerating at full speed from the highway paytoll i had a big cut in power like the engine is out of gas or injectors aren't firing any more. I pulled out the spark plugs this morning, three were soaked in gasoline, and the fourth was dry. When I crank the engine, there are no sparks i put tissue on the top of each hole in the injector and the 3 drenched with gazoline jump out but the 4th stay closed. I inspected the ground connection on ECU pins 14/55,30/55 and 48/55 I get 0ohm. I'm assuming that the issue is in another location.
I also tried to reset PID but without success. The car will start when the G28 is disconnected, but it works fine when the G28 connected. However, the intermittent misfire problem still occurs at higher RPM. The coolant temperature sensor (G62) shows the wrong temperature value of that is -49c even after unplugging it. I also noticed that the oil gauge in the cockpit shows 2 bar when the actual pressure is zero.
I'm not sure what to do. I believe that I've ruled everything else out. I'm afraid i may have missed something. If anyone has any ideas please chime in! TIA!
